You know, I was getting annoyed by all the posts like this pointing out the "TRAP! OMG, don't click or BAN!!" But you know what? That just shows that everyone knows now not to click things they are otherwise not supposed to, or else there may be consequences.
So the ban worked. In the wild proof!
Sorry to disagree, but I see the effect of the bans to make me more cautious when pushing a button, and being on edge like that has been decreasing my enjoyment of the game which had been a de-stressing distraction. I don't see this as a positive thing for my interaction with the game. And this comes from someone who was not banned.
Re: Player Positivity and Accomplishment Thread
I hit Cornwell and Pollard in back to back begolds from the portal. That should help my medicine roster.
Re: Player Positivity and Accomplishment Thread
Since you asked.....
I can hang with the Voyages. Can't hack it at that level in events myself

My wife would murder me...
Thanks. I think we can all agree that we are all here because when it comes down to it we love this Star Trek game.
Indeed. I've stuck with few games this long. Of course I have many, many "suggestions for improvement" but have learned long ago that I would not care to have so many suggestions if I didn't care about the game.
Just had to learn to reign in my enthusiasm for promoting those suggestions and recognizing that the people actually making the game have their own ideas.
Here's some positivity - thanks for Crew Retrieval WRG! My gut wants me to scream that "It would be sooo much better if it _____!" - But the truth is, that would always be my response, up-to-and-including "It would be sooo much better if it magically just gave me all the crew I wanted!" Bottom line - I like the new feature, and have been looking forward to my next retrieval (which is tonight for me, if I am not mistaken....)

Love this idea!
I hit level 98 this weekend, that was fun.
Got my most recent white whale this weekend as well through Crew Retrieval: Mycelial Culber.
And my pulls today were great:
- Begold from a Campaign Pull where I finally got my hands on Elnor (other choices were quite underwhelming and I loved his character)
- 10 total pulls of the Mega Wrap Up packs gave me four golds: a star each on Soren and Miller, and a fifth and sixth star on Q (I airlocked the sixth star), plus the final star I needed for Salia. Only thing missing from my wish list was a final star on Rand, but I can cite her up.

Re: random merit pulls-surprises

Perhaps not the most sought after card, but after getting her in the campaign a few months ago, it's nice to get that final star. Might be the first gold that I freeze whenever I inevitably get tight on crew slots again.
Re: Event Discussion thread: Galaxy Event "Baby Boom" - (03/11)
I like this Culber. But boy, did I hate the last Galaxy. I ended up below 750 for the first time ever, and it was such a slog. I was hoping to see a Galaxy only in a Hybrid for some weeks at least.
Each poll makes clear that we dislike full Galaxies the most. And still...
New event types anyone?

- yes, there will be a faction winner - this is not a typo
Very interesting. Can you share some of the thought process there? Nice little generous experiment.
