    A reminder that you do not have to go through the NPE to be able to sign in.
    You will see the Menu icon after the first cinematics and will be able to sign in almost immediately.
  • I just tried to log into my existing account and what’s weird is it will let me type in my email address but I can’t physically get a cursor active in the password field. I’ll restart the game and seeif it fixes it.

    I think I noticed that too, but if you start typing you will see that you are in the correct field.
  • I got it to work after reading your post but you couldn’t tab to it and there was no cursor. Definitely glitchy.

    As noted in another thread, warping to a system with the Discovery breaks the ship texture:

    Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 5 2600, GeForce GTX 1070, latest drivers.

    Switching ships does not fix (texture still broken). Warping to another system also doesn't fix. Exiting and reloading doesn't either (odd).

    Shenzou warps fine.
    Captain Proton warps fine.

    Looks like it is just the Discovery Spore Jump GFX that breaks. Not sure if it is a driver issue since it persists between sessions. Will try a reboot later.

    EDIT: App doesn't remember that it is maximized after it finishes loading. The loading screen remembers it is maximized, but once in the game it reverts to a non-maximized window.

    A restart will fix it. Been a bug since the "beta".
  • I set this up with a new account, and when I get to the first 'mission' outside of the tutorial (space battle vs Worf over Vulcan), I cannot assign crew to my ship on the screen, so therefore can not proceed further. Not sure how to resolve. Anyone else encountered this scenario?

  • Looks like it resolved itself. I had tried over and over earlier today with no avail, but when I just came back to it, it worked as advertised. *shrug*

    There currently seems to be a high difference on my PC between versions ...
    Testing while displaying my crew roster (passive screen)
    My system is Win10 1903 - i7-6700K - 16GB Ram

    Facebook Gameroom & Steam version both use between 5% & 10% CPU for Timelines and the overlay

    The Microsoft store version has a constant 25% to 30% cpu

    While the MStore version does seem to load faster and respond quicker ... the difference should not come at 3x the resource usage ,hopefully some quick optimization van be done before the hot part of the summer comes around here in Europe ....

    That is odd. What computer do you use?
    I have just been able to reproduced this and I found a workaround that did not require a restart.

    When it is in that state please click twice on the Campaigns tab on the left.

    I did have something like your issue but when I clicked on where the picture should be it seemed to download the image.

    You have to click into the field first and you still may not see a cursor. Go ahead and type once you have clicked into the field.

  • Me too, that’s when I tried to search for Ross and found I couldn’t type in the search field.

    The steam dlc specifically says it can be applied to existing accounts. Are these two different offers? Can the dlc be applied to an existing game?

    This thread is for our windows 10 app and the NPE offer.
    This is not the same as the Steam DLC that can be applied to an existing account.

    The app seems to take quite a while to load, I've been using it on and off for the last week and it always seems to hang on the 'Clearing Gravitational Well' loading screen.
