  • Also, the dog trying out the sheep's diet is hilarious, @Veterinary Phlox

We certainly lucked out getting a dog who is so good with the sheep. Granted, that is one benefit of getting a herding breed, even if she is a mix.

And technically corgis were bred to herd cattle, not sheep.

Well, we just got a new government that's a mix of all past governments

Good luck with Super Mario. :D

I hope everyone is doing OK and has, or will soon, have access to a vaccine <3
  • Resurrecting this thread to say g'day to my fellow Aussies either already in lockdown or looking like we're about to enter one; I'm sure I'm not the only one glued to the ABC blog waiting for updates... the last lot of news out of South Australia has me on edge a little, my grandparents live in that area :( So strange to see places like the UK opening up despite 50k new cases, that kind of figure would be unimaginable down here!

Anyway I present my blue doggo as pandemic-talk tax, his name is Greg (long story) and he is the best cuddle buddy <3

Greg is best doggo I bet, he looks very beautiful and cuddly :)

    Stay safe.
As before all we can do is do our part, but it is a very frustrating situation.
I hope that your grandparents are able to minimize their exposure as well.
  • Thanks @Shan, we've been very lucky so far. Since my last comment we've been plunged into a 7-day lockdown, along with Victoria (Melbourne) and parts of New South Wales (Sydney), although I suspect it will be extended past next week as we've had a lot of new cases pop up in the last few days. At least now I'll have time to check out the Celestial Marketplace... B)

I have my first flight since the pandemic started coming up. Only 90 minutes in the air, but I suspect it will still be a surreal experience. We're visiting my grandmother at the nursing home, and pandemic precautions limit visits to an hour a day. So we're flying up for three one-hour visits.

Also to help my dad move some "heavy things." So I guess there's that?

And for my photo tax, two ram lambs in the back of our Hyundai. It was a drive I won't soon forget.

Thanks! I haven't seen my folks since Dec 2019, and my grandmother since . . . summer 2018 I think.

Snacks are important - and you can't express dissatisfaction with the situation if you have a mouth full of hay! Two hour drive back with them and Stilton, the tan one on the right, had opinions.

I am glad you finally get to see your family, I understand the unreal feeling for the flight..

Recently I went to an ikea, masked of course, but we had a meal so mask off and I was unable to finish my meal as I became anxious with the number of people in the vicinity.

Your Hyundai is no longer the same either, I bet. :D
